Wahooooooo....Thank goodness for school!!!

Well we are potty training TJ right now and man its been a struggle. I kept him home for the first week of school for everyone except the pre-school which starts a week after everyone else. We were working so hard and it did start out good but then just got worse until about Monday. Lexie came over and tried something with him (a game of sorts). We sent him to school and the Learning Center yesterday in big boy underwear and told him we wanted him to come home dry and in the same ones that were on in the morning and he did. We were just estatic and told him so.

Well Angel's first week of school has been an experience--we are still trying to get everything down and figured out. I just hope that I haven't bitten off more than I can chew with this and that I don't do anything to mess her up and get her into trouble. All I have to do is call the school to get assistance I guess but it is soo scary to me. I know that once we do it for awhile we will get it down but it's just getting it there.

Well I'm off for now because I still need to finish dishes and continue on laundry.

Ok so I can take a few minutes to write on here

I just get so busy during the day with housework, playing with my dgs, Alex, and helping a neighbor friend of mine that I forget to write on here. I have Jason in 1st grade this year, Thomas in pre-school again, and then I thought that I would have Alex in pre-school with Thomas (TJ) but he doesn't qualify for that because its a developmental pre-school and he's smarter than all that. I guess that I shouldn't say smarter but in essesense that is true. Since we have had him since he was 2 1/2 months old and have worked with him, he is more advanced than his older brother TJ. Jason did also go to this pre-school and to the Learning Center after school like TJ does but Jason graduated from the Learning Center before the end of the school year last year.

TJ has some learning disabilities and delays like his dad had but Alex doesn't seem to have much--if any. I truly do believe also that being raised in a loving, caring home helps a tremendous lot. We have had Alex from 2 1/2 months old until now (he will be 3 in Oct.) but TJ came to us at just over 2 years old and he will be 5 in Nov. We worked with Jason when he would come spend the night with us and when he came to live with us, it just continued. I know it kinda seems like we just let TJ out there "hanging" but that is so far from the truth. We also worked (or tried to work) with TJ but he learns is such a different way that it has taken patience to work with him. Jason was born when Nikki and Brian lived with us. Nikki was very sick for most of the time and so I took over being a mom to him in essesence. I took him everywhere with me and even had him sleep in the bed by me a few nights so when they moved out, I was devastated. I had basically raised him for the first 1 1/2 years of his life and then got him back when he was about 3 1/2 years old. Jason and Alex naturally have a very special place in my heart because I have "raised" them and TJ has his special place also.

Well now on to Angel--we have almost all of her stuff for homeschooling but are missing the tower for her computer and some of her Earth Science things. I have emailed her coordinator and have also tried calling so that she doesn't get too far behind but we can get her all caught up hopefully if everything can get here this week. I'm getting just a little nervous to do all of this homeschooling stuff that I have to do but I know we can do it with a little bit of help.

Bye for now!!!!
